So here I am, joining the wonderful world of blogging...not of my own doing mind you, but by the thoughtfulness of my daughter. For the past year I've joked about blogging as an avenue for some stress relief. Emily must have figured to herself that this is poor mom's time for an outlet. You see, as she was creating my blog I almost burned down the extended stay hotel we are staying in while we await the closing of our home. As I was running around frantically waving around paper plates, opening the window, running the air conditioner, and any fan I could possibly find and even running the blow dryer with the hopes of airing the place out, reassuring the hotel manager that everything was A okay...sweet Emily was asking what kind of blog name I wanted...hence, one overcooked mom. It was one of the first things that came to mind...don't judge me :) Well, I better run...the puppy just peed on the bed, time to do some laundry! Love, One Overcooked Mom
